Jacuzzi® Hot Tub Bromine tablets are the perfect way to keep your water clean and safe. We recommend that you use these Hot Tub chemicals with a floating dispenser to assist with the sanitisation of your Hot Tub water. Using bromine tablets allows for a slow-release of bromine into your water which can be used in conjunction with bromine granules. Please do not use with Chlorine products. Ideal for easy Hot Tub cleaning.

How do you use bromine granules?
Using bromine granules to keep your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub’s water clean and safe in simple. To use bromine granules, you will need to determine the proper dosage needed by dipping a bromine test strip into the water. The test strip will then let you know if you need to add any bromine granules to your water. You can add bromine granules straight into the water a teaspoon at a time.

What are bromine granules?
Bromine granules are a form of bromine, a chemical element typically used in hot tubs to help sanitize the water. Bromine is similar to chlorine in its ability to kill bacteria and other microorganisms that can cause illness, but it is more effective at higher temperatures. Bromine granules are small pellets that are added directly to the water following a bromine test strip result.
How much bromine granules should you add to your hot tub water?
The amount of bromine granules you should add to your hot tub or swim spa water will depend on several factors, including the size of your Jacuzzi Hot Tub or Swim Spa, the initial bromine level and the desired bromine level. A typical range for bromine levels in your hot tub water is between 3 and 5 parts per million (ppm). To achieve this you will need to add the appropriate amount of bromine granules straight into your hot tub water. It is recommended to use bromine test strips to measure the bromine levels in the hot tub water and adjust the dosage accordingly. See the link below for bromine test strips.
How long after adding bromine granules can you use your hot tub?
The amount of time you need to wait after adding bromine granules to your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub or Swim Spa before jumping in will depend on a few factors, including the size of your hot tub, the initial bromine level and the desired bromine level. As a guide, it is recommended you wait between 15 minutes to 1 hour after you have added the bromine granules before you use your hot tub or swim spa. It may be a good idea to add the bromine after you have sued your hot tub so it is ready to use straight away next time you fancy a dip.

What does bromine smell like?
