What will happen on the day?
Your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub will normally arrive on an 18-tonne articulated lorry from our warehouse, with a curtain side and electric tail lift to easily deliver your Jacuzzi®. Our experience team of engineers will be ready and wating to unload your hot tub and ensure the route to the garden is clear and set up their equipment in your garden. The engineers will begin by setting up a ‘Water Transfer Bag’ in your garden and begin to fill with water, this is important to do this straight away to save time and speed up you finally enjoying your new hot tub. Your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub will then be carefully transported into your garden on its side, or with the assistance of additional lifting equipment if required (you will be aware of this prior to your installation day).
Once the team have positioned your hot tub in its new home, they will confirm you are happy with its final location and orientation. Once this is confirmed they will unwrap your Jacuzzi®, removing all packaging and leaving a clean and tidy garden. Next, they will start to connect it to the power supply, once safely connected they can begin filling up your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub by pumping the water from the ‘Water Transfer Bag’ directly into your Jacuzzi®. The filling will be completed with just a hose pipe, no plumbing required. Our engineers will also assemble your hot tub cover, cover lifter and steps for you. We will then show you how to use your new Jacuzzi® Hot Tub in detail, including a beginner chemical guide.
How long does the installation take?
The installation process will vary depending on size of Jacuzzi® Hot Tub and distance or complexity of the location. However we install most of our hot tub within a 4-hour window and are predominantly governed by water pressure, hence the importance of filling the ‘Water transfer bag’ immediately upon arrival.
What do I need to do on the day?
Pretty much nothing! We want to make the experience of having your new Jacuzzi® Hot Tub installed as smooth and exciting as possible! There really isn't a lot you need to do and the Hydrolife team will have supported you with everything you need to do, however these few steps below will make sure we can get your hot tub up and running in no time!
- Please do ensure that you have the correct electrical requirements and suitable base prepared prior to our arrival, please see base and electical requirements here.
- We will need access to and outdoor tap to attach our hoses and also a plug socket.
- We would love for you to be present to ensure your hot tub is placed in the perfect position that you’d like and for the team to show you how to look after your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub.
- For you to relax and be ready to enjoy your hot tub the next day!
Looking after your new Jacuzzi® Hot Tub
Our experienced and very friendly team of engineers will spend time with you at the end of the installation to go through operating your Jacuzzi and an introduction to water care with a selction of chemicals to get you started, this might be a blur on the day so please don’t worry, you can access our ‘Water Care Guide’ here as well as contacting both our sales and aftercare teams with any questions you have. This is new to you, and we fully understand that it’ll take a short while to get to grips with.
