What happens on the day of my hot tub installation?
What will happen on the day?
Your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub will arrive on a large delivery lorry, which will be met by our engineers. Your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub will then be transported into your property on its side, or via lifter if required. Once your hot tub is in your garden, we will get it in location, carefully lower the hot tub onto its base, unwrap and start to connect it to the power supply. Once connected, we will check everything is working and we can begin filling up your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub. No special plumbing is needed, just a hose pipe. Our engineers will also assemble your hot tub cover, cover lifter and steps for you. We will then show you how to use your new Jacuzzi® Hot Tub, including adding chemicals.
The delivery truck travels from Birmingham. They will do their best to be on time, however it is expected that sometimes they can get held up in traffic or delayed at other deliveries.
How long does the installation take?
The installation process will last for around four hours (largely dependent on water pressure).
We want to make the experience of having your new Jacuzzi® Hot Tub installed as smooth and exciting as possible! There really isn't a lot you need to do, however these few steps below will make sure we can get your hot tub up and running in no time!
- Please do ensure that you have the correct electrical requirements and suitable base prepared prior to our arrival, please see base and electical requirements here.
- We will need a hose long enough to reach your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub to fill it up.
- We would love for you to be present to ensure your hot tub is placed in the perfect position that you’d like and for the team to show you how to look after your Jacuzzi® Hot Tub.
- For you to relax and be ready to enjoy your hot tub the next day!
Looking after your new Jacuzzi® Hot Tub
At the time of installation, you will receive a chemical starter pack containing the following:
- 500g bromine granules
- 500g no foam
- 500g pH+
- 500g pH-
- Test strips
These items will get you off to a good start, almost like having the fuel to get your new car home from the showroom. The bromine and pH will be the two main things to focus on and levels can be easily checked with the test strips.
Bromine tablets are slow release and will help keep levels balanced (when placed into the floating dispenser), while the granules are faster acting for when the test strips show the bromine level as low. If you would like to purchase any of the additional chemicals, please do let us know and we will arrange for these to be delivered at the time of installation.
We also stock AquaFinesse, which is a safe, clean and crystal clear water which protects spa bathers, the environment and the spa itself. In one simple weekly treatment, the hot tub chemicals in the Aquafinesse patented, environmentally friendly, formula loosens slime from surfaces. It is rinsed away by the action of the water and prevented from reforming. The result is a dramatic reduction in the levels of bacteria, needing only the minimal amount of sanitiser, perfect for sensitive skin! Even calcium, the notorious destroyer of spas, is no match against the power of AquaFinesse. Perfect for easy hot tub cleaning!
